He's a main character in a Japanese shounen hero video game, combined with the way he talked about women and flirted with Lady in DMC3, he's completely heterosexual by default. Western fans love to discuss his sexuality but who understand Japanese and Asian culture well would understand he's % straight judging by his character type.

Dante is the protagonist in the Devil May Cry Series. He has long been interpreted as a potentially gay or queer male character (see here and here). There is also a strong community of boy-on-boy Devil May Cry fan-fiction authors/readers.
